6" Backwater Valve for Non-Hub Plastic Pipe
This backwater valve is designed to prevent sewage backup into plumbed structures due to a plugged sewer system, excess volume in the system, or groundwater flooding. It is specifically suited for use with non-hub plastic pipes and can be installed discreetly outside, up to 12 feet below ground level. The valve features an elastomeric gasket in the flapper for a watertight seal and a threaded access cap for easy maintenance. It complies with UPC, IPC, and IRC codes, as well as ASME and ICC-ES standards.
