This 1/2 inch double check valve backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the backflow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements. Its compact modular design facilitates easy maintenance with a single access cover for in-line repairs. It is ideal for protection in continuous pressure piping applications and at cross-connections identified as non-health hazards and for contaminants at the service line entrance. This assembly without shutoffs consists of a bronze body construction, NPT end connections, top mounted test cocks, two in-line independent positive seating check modules, captured springs, and replaceable check discs and seats.

This is a lead-free, 1/2" dual check valve designed to prevent the backflow of polluted water into the drinking water supply. It features a 1/2" union FPT connection by another 1/2" standard FPT connection. The valve is constructed of lead-free copper silicon alloy, includes santoprene discs, a stainless steel spring, and EPDM o-rings. It is tested and certified by NSF to meet NSF/ANSI standard 61 Annex G, ensuring it meets lead-free qualifications. It can withstand temperatures up to 180°F and pressures up to 175 PSI.
