Diamond Brite Latex PVA Primer/Sealer is formulated with a small amount of rubber to smooth out small imperfections in new dry wall. This product dries semi-transparent. The purpose of a PVA Primer is to seal and prime for the surface to accept its first coat of paint. Do not confuse a PVA Primer with a stain-blocking primer.
